100% Dutch-Built Quality | Supplier Hydraulic Systems

For the construction of the new Multi Purpose Vessel Rijnstroom, Van Wijngaarden Marine Services collaborates with DT Hydraulics as supplier of the vessel’s hydraulic systems. DT Hydraulics is responsible for the engineering, delivery, and commissioning of hydraulic systems that power key onboard equipment, including steering, winches, cranes, and other deck equipment.

DT Hydraulics’ contribution is distinctive through the development of custom-built hydraulic power units (HPUs) and control manifolds tailored specifically to the operational requirements of the vessel. The systems are equipped with electrically driven HPU pumps featuring energy-saving and noise-reducing electronic load-sensing control. This approach improves efficiency while supporting reliable and smooth operation of the vessel’s hydraulic equipment.

Dutch-Built Quality plays an important role in this project. Close cooperation in the engineering phase between DT Hydraulics and the shipyard ensures that the hydraulic systems are carefully aligned with the vessel design and operational requirements. Short communication lines and strong technical collaboration contribute to an efficient integration process during construction.
