Experience working on our workboats
Being part of our crew on board of our vessels you will work in a schedule of 4 weeks on/off when working in Europe, or 6 weeks on/off when working outside of Europe.
Working on our larger vessels (>40Tons BP) you will be part of a team of 5 to 8 people to get the work done on a daily basis. As a standard you will be working 12 hours per day, if needed some overtime get the job done.

Van Wijngaarden Marine Services employs officers who completed their education to Maritime Officers ( Maroff) at Dutch Nautical schools.
As a Maroff you will experience our Maroff Development Program where we train and guide our crew from Junior Maroff to Senior Maroff and eventually to become a Captain. You will get regular appraisals to match your skills and competences against the requirements for your next position.

Van Wijngaarden Marine Services offers worldwide maritime services to the transport and renewables sector, dredging industry, offshore companies (oil & gas) and the inland and open sea shipping. Our fleet Tugs, Shoalbusters, Multicats and Multipurpose workboats are equipped with modern deck-equipment, cosy and clean accommodation, and some with DP systems. The engine power installed is within the range of 730 HP to 3957 HP with consequently a bollard pull between 10 and 61,8 ton.
