For the construction of the new Multi Purpose Vessel Rijnstroom, Van Wijngaarden Marine Services collaborates with Kooiman Marine Group as the main contracting party including ship design and shipbuilding. Kooiman Marine Group is responsible for the complete design, construction, integration, testing, and delivery of the vessel, working in close cooperation with Van Wijngaarden Marine Services and selected suppliers.

Kooiman Marine Group designs and builds tailor-made vessels optimized for their specific operational profile. With an in-house design and engineering department, all systems and equipment are carefully integrated into a well-balanced and efficiently operating vessel. By translating the operational experience and requirements of Van Wijngaarden Marine Services into the vessel design, Rijnstroom is developed to deliver maximum deployment efficiency within the technical and regulatory limits inherent to shipbuilding.

Building Rijnstroom entirely in the Netherlands underlines the importance of Dutch-Built Quality for this project.
