EuroCarrier Maasstroom successfully launched

A major milestone has been reached in the construction of our new EuroCarrier Maasstroom: yesterday, the vessel was successfully launched at Neptune Shipyards in Aalst. After months of construction, seeing the Maasstroom touch the water for the first time marks a significant step in the project.

With the vessel now afloat and the majority of mechanical works completed, the project is moving into its commissioning phase. The focus now shifts to commissioning, where all onboard systems will be thoroughly tested and validated to ensure the vessel is ready for safe and reliable operation.

From first steel to launch and now commissioning, another important chapter has been written in the journey of the Maasstroom towards joining the Van Wijngaarden fleet.
