2023 – WADDENSTROOM

The name of the latest addition to our fleet, the WADDENSTROOM, derives from the Wadden Sea, a marginal sea between the Wadden Islands and the North Sea on one side, and the mainland of the Netherlands, Germany, and Denmark on the other. The area stretches from Den Helder in the Netherlands to Esbjerg in Denmark, with a length of 500 km and an average width of 20 km.

History
During the past anniversary year, we have taken you through the history of our family business. As an ambitious company, we are always looking ahead, and that's why we are incredibly pleased with the Waddenstroom, the latest addition we received last year from Damen Shipyards Hardinxveld. This DP2 MultiCat 3713 is a great addition to the already existing DP1 MultiCats. The Waddenstroom is characterized by its 4 thrusters, shallow draft, and the latest developments in sustainability, as the vessel is diesel-electric powered. All in all, a great fleet expansion during our 50th anniversary year.
