Supplier GreenPower ULEV Gensets & Engine

For the construction of the new Multi Purpose Vessel Rijnstroom, Van Wijngaarden Marine Services collaborates with YES Marine Group as supplier of the GreenPower IMO II, IMO III and Ultra Low Emissions (ULEV) certified generator sets and propulsion engine. These systems are designed, certified, packaged, and tested in-house in the Netherlands, ensuring reliable performance and seamless integration within the vessel’s power and propulsion setup.

YES Marine Group’s contribution is distinctive through the application of GreenPower ULEV-certified technology. By using advanced exhaust after-treatment systems, emissions of harmful substances are reduced to ultra-low levels. This significantly lowers the environmental footprint of the vessel while supporting efficient and reliable operation in line with modern offshore standards.

Dutch-Built Quality plays an important role in this project. Designing and preparing these systems entirely in the Netherlands ensures short communication lines between partners and strong technical alignment during the construction process. Close cooperation between supplier, shipyard, and vessel operator contributes to a reliable and future-ready installation onboard Rijnstroom.
