100% Dutch-Built Quality – Supplier Towing Pin

For the construction of the new Multi Purpose Vessel Rijnstroom, Van Wijngaarden Marine Services collaborates with Kooiman Marine Group as supplier of the towing pin system. In addition to their role as ship designer and shipbuilder, Kooiman Marine Group will design, construct, and install a Kooiman Delta Pin with a Safe Working Load of 150 tons. This scope includes the full process from design and machining to assembly, installation, and integration of the towing pin unit and its control system on board.

Kooiman Marine Group’s contribution is distinctive through its in-house developed range of towing pin systems, based on extensive experience in the repair and maintenance of vessels equipped with such equipment. The Kooiman Delta Pin, together with other variants such as the Omega and Gamma pins, is designed to be robust, simple and easy to maintain. These systems are developed for straightforward integration into vessel structures, supporting operational reliability,long-term serviceability and safe offshore operations on deck.
