1984 – LINGESTROOM
Delivery of new construction
The LINGESTROOM, based on the design of Mr. C. van Gelder, tugboat VMT 84 was built by Van Mill Scheepswerf and Machinefabriek BV / Bno. 132.
History
With this ship, Van Wijngaarden Marine Services adds a new, multipurpose tugboat to its fleet. Without having sailed the VMT 84, the vessel was immediately rented bareboat for five years (1984-1989) by Van Wijngaarden Marine Services and put into service as Lingestroom. As the Dintelstroom and the Scheldestroom, the Lingestroom was suitable to be equipped with the so-called ‘crew cabin’ for the transport of 38 people.
