2009 DINTELSTROOM & MP 3002

On Friday, November 26, 2009, the Sliedrecht-based company added two new work vessels to its fleet. A new milestone for Van Wijngaarden Marine Services. 

History
Just say a local get-together. The new vessels DINTELSTROOM and MP 3002 were both built by Hardinxveld’ shipyards. Yet, they were not to be admired in Dutch waters for long, as they soon set sail for the Falkland Islands to work for the British Ministry of Defense for a decade. The captain during this trip was Peter van Wijngaarden. Unfortunately, the plan to complete the distance of approximately 7,025 nautical miles in one go was brutally disrupted by the weather.
